Can I get tested for COVID-19 at Williamsburg Urgent Care?

YES!

Williamsburg Urgent Care now offers COVID-19 testing in TWO ways!

“SWAB-N-GO”

WE OFFER BOTH THE (RAPID) ANITGEN TEST AND THE (SEND OUT) PCR TEST.

Call our office or log on to make an appointment for a telemedicine visit and discuss your symptoms with our doctor. If your symptoms are suggestive of the coronavirus and you meet the expanded CDC criteria, you will be given an appointment to “SWAB-N-GO”. You will be given instructions on how to accurately swab your nose in your car. We will send it to the lab and call you with your results.

COVID-19 ANTIBODY TEST

Do you think your cold from last month was just a cold, or a mild case of coronavirus? The COVID-19 antibody test can help up decide. The Coronavirus Antibody Test (COVID-19 IgG/IgM) is a blood test that determines if your body has developed antibodies necessary to help fight off the Coronavirus. Simply schedule your appointment. You must be asymptomatic (free of symptoms) for at least fourteen (14) days prior to testing.

While the presence of antibodies doesn't necessarily prevent future infections, they can potentially reduce the severity of future infections of the current COVID-19 strain. Continued self protective measures like hand washing and wearing a face mask in public remains important
